Villagers cope with resettlement as Laos embarks on largest hydropower project

Laos is currently building about 50 more power plants in the country to ramp up supplies of hydropower to the region. This means that those living in 16 villages by the river banks will be displaced. Channel NewsAsia’s Leong Wai Kit finds out how they country’s largest hydropower project rolled out its settlement plans more than 10 years ago .
